⚠️ SAFETY FIRST: Ensure the vehicle has cooled down completely before beginning. Always use properly rated jack stands or a shop lift. Wear eye protection when cutting or working underneath the chassis.
Step 1: Prep and Penetrate
Locate your factory muffler. Generously spray all exhaust flange bolts, clamps, and rubber exhaust hangers with a high-quality rust penetrant (like WD-40 or PB Blaster). Let it sit for 5–10 minutes to loosen built-up road grime and rust.
Step 2: Free the Hangers
Use an exhaust hanger removal tool (or a pry bar with a bit of soapy water as lubricant) to pop the factory muffler out of its rubber isolating hangers.
Step 3: The Cut / Unbolt
Depending on your factory setup, unbolt the exhaust flange or mark your cut line.
BnB Pro-Tip: Measure twice, cut once! Mark your line cleanly, and ensure your cut is 100% straight using a chain cutter or reciprocating saw. A straight cut ensures a flawless slip-fit and zero leaks.
Step 1: Mock Fitment
Slide the BnB Valvetronic muffler into position to test clearance. Check that it clears the rear bumper cutout, heat shields, and suspension components.
Step 2: Choose Your Connection Type
Option A: Clamping (Bolt-On)
Slide the heavy-duty exhaust clamps over the pipes, seat the muffler fully into the slip-fit joints, and snug the clamps down. Leave them slightly loose for final alignment.
Option C: Welding (Custom Shop)
Align the muffler perfectly, ground your welder, and throw down 3–4 tack welds to lock the position. Double-check tip alignment before laying down the final, continuous structural welds.
Step 3: Re-engage Hangers
Pop the muffler hangers back into the rubber factory isolators to take the weight off your hands or jack.

⚡ WARNING: Route the vacuum hose completely away from moving suspension parts, the driveshaft, and high-heat zones like the exhaust piping itself. Use zip-ties to secure it neatly along factory lines.
1. The Remote Test (Before Starting Engine)
Turn the vehicle’s ignition to On (Engine off).
Press the ON Button on your BnB Remote control. You should hear the internal pump click/hum briefly to pull vacuum.
Press the OFF Button to release pressure. Ensure the physical valve arm on the muffler moves smoothly between open and closed positions.
2. Leak & Drive Test
Start the vehicle and check all joints (clamps or welds) for escaping exhaust gas. Tighten down clamps further if you feel any air leaks.
Take the car for a spin and enjoy the massive sound difference between Open and Closed modes!
The Smell/Smoke: Over the first 50 to 100 km, you will notice a distinct burning scent and potentially a small amount of white/gray smoke during the first few heat cycles. This is completely normal. It is simply the manufacturing oils and packing materials settling in and burning off.
The 500km Torque-Down: As high-performance exhaust steel goes through heat cycles, components expand and contract. Carbon buildup will naturally help seal the slip joints, but we strictly recommend putting the car back on stands after 500 km to re-torque and tighten all exhaust clamps completely.
